June 17, 2015: Since 1997 Sight Savers America has been assisting children with low vision and is helping them to achieve their best in school and in their lives despite their challenges. They have provided over 375,000 children with eye care and over 1,200 children with low vision aids. Optelec supports FORCE in Africa
In Africa, the number of visually impaired people is growing because of sickness, poverty and lack of knowledge about eye conditions and how to handle them.
